i don’t understand this. someone explain it to me.

The photograph is part of a project that helps victims of sexual assault. They get their picture taken and use a quote said by their abuser in order to overcome and no longer be a prisoner of those words. In this case the girl’s best friend’s bf was her abuser and those were the words he said to her.
